Mercredi manucure / Mani Wednesday

Salut les filles,

Déjà mercredi, ce qui implique la petite manucure du jour. Aujourd'hui, je vais vous présenter un "nail art" facile à réaliser, une petit idée sympa pour les fêtes ou tout simplement pour tous les jours.

Pour cette manucure, vous aurez besoin d'une base, de "stripping band" et d'un top coat. Prévoyez également deux couleurs de vernis ( l'une d'entre-elles doit être plus claire afin que le dessin ressorte bien). 

Pour ma part, j'ai décidé d'utiliser le " for the twirl of it " de Essie (chouchou du moment) et le " Plum Play with Me " de Catrice. Quand à la "stripping band", elle vient d'un mini rouleau vendu avec le pack de "nail art" de Bourjois. Pour la base et la couche de finition, j'utilise le "all in One base" de chez Essie.

Je vous inclus une petite photo du résultat final pour que vous puissiez vous faire une idée du rendu avant de continuer votre lecture.

Sur ce, mettons nous au travail :

Premièrement, pour réaliser les diagonales, commencez par appliquer votre base transparente puis deux couches du vernis le plus clair.

Sur cette photo, j'ai donc appliqué ma base
transparente, mes deux couches de couleurs
de base et ma "stripping tape"
afin d'obtenir un effet de croisillons. 

Deuxièmement, posez votre "stripping tape" selon le dessin qui vous désirez obtenir.  Je vous inclue une photo pour que vous puissiez visualiser le processus.

Troisièmement, au dessus de cette couche de base et des morceaux de "stripping tape", appliquez le second vernis.

Quatrièmement, lorsque cette dernière couche de vernis est sèche, retirez précautionneusement vos morceaux de collants en commençant à chaque fois par celui du dessus.

Cinquièmement, et pour finir votre "nail art", appliquez votre top coat. Cette dernière couche rendra l'aspect de votre ongle plus lisse et plus brillant et vous permettra également de conserver cette manucure un peu plus longtemps.

It's Mani wednesday already and today, I am going to show you a simple and easy to do nail art. If you are in need of an idea for your holiday parties or just on a day to day basis, this could maybe help you.

For this manucure, you will need a base coat, two colours of your choice (make sure to choose one lighter than the other for the design to be obvious), some stripping band and a top coat.

Since I'm obsessed with the colour "for the twill of it" by Essie, I will be using that one as my basis colour, and the colour "Plum play with me" by Catrice on the top. As far as the stripping band is concerned, the one I am using comes from a nail art package by Bourjois. Finally, for my base and top coat, I am applying the "all in one base" by Essie.

Here is a picture to show you the final result.

Let's get to it !

First of all,  I begin by applying my base coat and continue with two coats of my base colour "for the twill of it". This colour is going to show off as geometric lines on the nails.

In this picture, I have applied my two coats
 of  "for the twill of it" and my stripping band.

Secondly, I put my stripping band the way I want my design to be. Let me show you what it should look like so far.

Thirdly, I apply my top colour over my base colour and the stripping band.

Fourthly, I gently pull off the pieces of band, beginning by the one on the top and so on.

Finally, to smooth out my nail and make it shine, I apply a top coat over the desgin. It will also allow it to stay nice and beautiful a little while longer.
